Recently he referred me to Spa Medica at Wakefield, a private hospital which carries out NHS work, for a cataract op and there was minimal delay to get the appointment and the op was carried out to suit me 2 weeks later.

“I was recommended to visit this optician by a friend who’d been very happy with the service and the glasses they purchased. The eye test I had was thorough and professional and included a photograph taken of the back of my eye. The lady who helped me choose glasses was excellent, she explained various offers to me clearly. I eventually chose 2 pairs of designer glasses (one of which was free!) It did take a while as there was a huge choice but the lady helping me was patient and helpful. When I called to pick them up I saw another staff member who made some adjustments so the glasses were comfortable. I was told to return if I needed any alterations to my glasses but this wasn’t needed.
